  • JL Harder, RMT, Manual Lymph Therapist

JL is a Registered Massage Therapist and a certified manual lymphatic therapist with additional training in complete decongestive therapy for lymphedema. Their passion for physical therapy is inspired by their love of anatomy, learning and movement.

Through their own experience of injury and rehabilitation they have come to value the importance of knowing how our body moves and functions to better understand how to heal and prevent injury. As a trans person with a previous career advocating for individuals responding to institutional barriers to health care, they are committed to providing non judgmental care that meets each person where they are at. They aspire to work in ways that counter how racism, anti fatness, and colonial ways of hierarchy and power often show up in wellness spaces.

JL is passionate about moving in ways that feel right for their body in each particular moment. Some days that involves: dancing, boxing, slowly sauntering through the forest; others it looks like spending a day in bed reading too much science fiction. We all experience changes to our mobility throughout our lifetime. How do we show up for our bodies in this moment? goes here
